carhill Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 OP, two things... From the tone of your postings, sometimes your own perspective becomes self-fulfilling. I had this problem in my 20's and early 30's. Also, women could indeed be flirting with you and you're just not seeing the signs or recognizing them. Women are often very subtle to our male perception. TBH, during that period of my life, I just thought women were being friendly and I treated them like friends and had many friends but little in the way of girlfriends. I wrote my own check. Your choice.

It only results in a date about one out of every ten times. I prefer to make conversation with flirting inserted every now and then Also, some women don't like initiating flirting because they feel like the guy might be taken; busy/distracted; or just not interested.
