A guy told me today that it drives your ex even crazier when you stay "just friends" My ex has a new gf but tells me he doesn't rule me out and has sent me mixed signals while i was doing NC......Is it honestly better to stay just friends if you want to keep any hope of getting them back or stick with the NC because i don't know if i could put my heart on the line like that?????

NC and don't have your ex put you on the back burner.

 

Once YOU can handle being a friend, which most are not after a breakup, then maybe MONTHS or YEARS later.
