confused_2008 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I dated this girl for a couple months, nothing very long at all but things didn't really work out between us. It was mainly due to my insecurities I guess, which I'm dealing with now. It has really been an eye opening experience I guess and I have grown because of it. Anyway, the problem is, I am still hung up on her, even though it's now been longer since we "broke up" (if you can even call it that) than we actually dated. For a while we kind of both kept in contact and then I initiated all the contact for a couple weeks until I realized what was going on and stopped altogether. Well since I stopped, she's been the one to initiate things. When I say contact, it's really insignificant, like hope your finals go good, merry christmas, hope break is going good, etc. The main thing that's discouraging is it's gone from phone convos, to texting, to facebook, which is like backwards progression. It's so easy when you're into someone to read so much into the little things and want to put myself back out there as being interested in dating her again, but I do need to maintain my pride. So basically, like everybody else that posts here, I want somebody to say she's still interested, but I know the solution is going to be NC
BobSacamento Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Ask her to go somewhere. If she has an excuse, your done.
vanilla87 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Sounds to me that she seems to being losing interest in you. Best bet is to stop responding to her at some point, cause when you do, maybe it'll show her that you don' care, which could make her want you more or just not care at all. Good Luck.
