Posco_Proudfoot Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Ok, so I've been chatting to this girl for about 1 1/2 days. She is already calling me "baby" and "sexy" and "I wish I was right there" when I sent some pics of myself after yesterday. It's like every other email or sentence she is saying it. This stuff is freaking me out ! She doesn't even know me and she is saying this. What happened to some "getting to know you" time? She's never met me and I feel like I'm being chased. Should I ignore it and just wait for a meeting before passing judgement or is this a sign?? Should I say something about it??? It makes me uncomfortable because I may not like her or she'll be nothing like what she says and I got to deal with it like some sort of breakup of someone I don't even really know !
saturnfell Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 She sounds ultra clingy. Imagine if you got into a relationship with her and it didn't work out? I think you'd be in for a lot more than you could handle and should have to deal with. It sounds like knowing this, is the sign that you should dodge the bullet and let this one pass.
Author Posco_Proudfoot Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 A girl calling you baby is uncomfortable? Doing it once. no. Doing it a lot after chatting with someone less than an hour and 3 emails exchanged. A lil bit.....
johan Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I would be concerned, too. She is either really feeling that way, which is a problem. Or else she doesn't really feel that way, but she's saying it. That makes her a bit false.
whichwayisup Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 She's a wee bit intense, so it seems.. GET OFFLINE and meet her face to face..Then decide if you want to date her or not. Words can jump off a page a certain way so until you get to know her real life personality, (unless your gut is SCREAMING to you to run), go on a real date, I wouldn't freak out about it yet.
sweetgirl99 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I think its weird that she's calling you that already. I would be turned off if a guy called me "baby" or "sexy" the first day of knowing him... sounds like she's clingy, or trying to rush an online thing. People that I've met online who do that are blocked by me or ignored because thats something that people who are in some sort of relationship call eachother, ya know?
Storyrider Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 You *are* pretty irresistible in your avatar, baby!
Citizen Erased Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 You *are* pretty irresistible in your avatar, baby! Grrr baby, very grrr Some girls are like that, they call every guy they know sexy. I have a friend that calls me dollz and babe every time she sends me messages. I can only imagine how annoying she is if you're sleeping with her. Meet her in person. At worst you'll have a stalker. At least you'd get a roll in the sack once or twice before you cannot ignore her craziness any longer.
sweetgirl99 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 LOL..roll in the sack? Gosh, some guys are soo romantic! hahaha
