alwayssme Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 I have come a long way in the healing process from when he first left...but today I feel so nostalgic..I'm not crying but my heart is hurting...it feels like a lifetime ago but yet it feels like it was just yesterday... It was midnight last year at this time...we were kissing and crying of happiness and telling each other how lucky we are to have one another.. And tonight I'm just going to be with my family..he is gone..forever...i miss him alot right now...but i'm not overly depressed over it..just nostalgic... anyway...Happy New Year's everyone and thank you to all of you for being so supportive!!

While I totally understand your pain, I think it's very important to focus on what we do have. Someone always has it worse. I spent Christmas alone, so it's all uphill from here

You know, New Years Eve alone is kinda cool. I enjoy it . Take the time to give your family some love and appreciation - let them know how lucky you are to have them and maybe next year you will have a new memory of an awesome night with the fam.
