Or anyone else for that matter. It took me a little over a year before I couldn't cry about her if I wanted to. Everyone takes their own time. Very glad to hear you're moving in the right direction though. Keep up the fight, sands.

They say we never forget, that was part of your life & a big part at that but we can move on & that is what it sounds like you are doing. I understand how you feel about getting into another relationship. It is hard to trust another person & except there is a chance you might get your heart broken again, but like Henry Cloud says; you have to try or you will never know what you might have missed. I really like his books & at my church we have classes and workshops & they have been so helpful..... Like dead-dyke said; everyone has to do this at there own pace and everyone is different, but as long as you are moving forward you can go as fast or slow as you want.
