I wonder if I should go to the hospital where I was born Im only like forty minutes away from there. Ive been considering trying to rent the room where I was born. I think it was a mistake to leave it 34 years ago and if I can get back in there Im not leaving it again
Trimmer Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 In my case and my kids' (in two different states), it was with the county recorder of the county in which the birth happened. See if you can get to a website of the county government of your birth, and look for something like "vital records" or "county recorder", or just search on "birth certificate."

Yes, what 2sure said...or something like the Bureau of Vital Statistics...can't remember the exact name they go by. Too lazy to look it up. Ok, edited since I looked it up.
