After a month she emails to give things back

She emails me about giving some stuff back, asked about christmas etc. She even suggests coming by the house. I don't really even want to see her much less giving crap back after a whole month of NC.

 

One thing I need to get back because of the expensive. Everything else she can set on fire. She seems to want her own stuff back.

 

I could:

 

1) Just sugget dropping it off at her job. Neutral territory.

2) Have her come inside my house, making it feel bad when she leaves again.

3) Go to her house. What I had suggested.

 

Something so simple can actually set me back aways.

How have do you handle something like this? I may have over-analyzed this day.

 

A quick recap: We separated about a month ago over an arguement about money and her constant spending. She went back to her house along with all her stuff. She is a major shopaholic and I had turned into a handyman with all the stuff she wanted done to the house. A lot of resentment got built up between us. No call on my Berf-Day and after that I did NC.

my ex dropped my stuff back to my house. i had his stuff ready in bags by the door, so i didn't have to invite him in. it was a few weeks after the break up, during which we had some contact. it wasn't easy, but i'm glad it happened that way. i was friendly. but distant. which he was rather shocked about. and i hate to say that felt good to me. I hate to think of treating him in a way that would hurt him. i won't sink to his level, but i just won't be so familiar anymore. I think he thought i'd be begging him to come back after the way i reacted to the break up. it's a little satisfying, just to be cool with him, without being mean. don't know if that helps you in anyway, but in saying that, i did cry when he left. but at least then the hard part is over. don't build it up too much by thinking about how you're going to do it. Make a decision, avoid the small talk and get it over with.
