Funkymonkey Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 So, I finally got over the last girl. It was a bit of a challenge I still do think about her a bit, but it doesn't bother me NEARLY as much as it did before. Life was great without a crush. Until recently I met a new girl, which kinda sucks I tend to like people to easily and once i'm attached I just get ****ed. She didn't show much interest at first so I was the one doing the chasing. Spoke a bit not much, however I did manage to spark some sort of connection between us, unlike before she's starting to talk to me, smile and look over at me. We do work together in a restaurant only on busy days so we pretty much don't ever get time to actaully chill out and chat. I opened up to her and told her I thought she was adorable and like got her to wrap her arms around me which was kinda sweet. I haven't really gone anywhere with her yet it's been 2 times in the past 2 weeks that we've spoke. So yeah I don't really know where to go from here on. I'm not going to expect anything big since I barely know her but I really wouldn't mind giving this one a shot.
xpaperxcutx Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 It hardly sounds like you're all that interested. Are you pursuing just for the sake of pursuing? Do you honestly wish to waste your time on something that you don't find all that worthwhile?

I just don't know where to go from here on. Since most of the times i've pursued a girl I've gotten them to have feelings for me but then it all lands in the FZ sooner or later or I just screw things up. I just don't wanna mess this up I geuss. EDIT: I also find it kind of weird. We work together in the restaurant as servers.
saturnfell Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I will always say never date someone you work with. However, it's your choice. If you like her, ask her out. What have you got to lose? Nothing.

What have you got to lose? Nothing. I don't see her often enough, but I have a couple questions. Is it weird if I just randomly call her up and ask her out? Is there like an "attraction time limit?" Like if I don't ask her out sooner or later will she eventually lose attraction towards me or what.

Well, since you guys don't see each other very often, there really isn't a time limit. You could ask her for her phone number so you guys can meet outside of work from time to time, that way you guys can " build" interest.

Yeah I don't see her for another week, since she has this week off. But i'll ask for her number and hopefully plan something out of work in the future. I'm just afraid of moving into things too fast with her.
You'reasian Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Tilt your head back, let's bury the cup
EYECANDY000 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Honey, you need to learn to put your feelings aside and not get to attached to people so quick. When she comes back to work, ask her for her number and see if she wants to hang out.

That's the 1 reason why I hate relationships. When I get attached I start to over think things waaaay to much which causes me to **** up. And you'reasin what do you mean by that?
Morden87 Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 "attraction time limit". damn, this got me thinking about the girl i like at work. well, my situation kind of like your. i am also concern that she might lose interest in me as more time goes by...
CBR_pilot Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Assuming that you won't get into trouble at work, here's what you should do: Invite her out with you and a group of friends (maybe other co-workers). This way, you can get a chance to get to know her better without the actual pressure of a "date". Then, just take things a day at a time to see how she's reacting. If she's really interested, she'll make it clear...
johan Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Hey, CBR Pilot. I support this site and therefore don't have to view its advertisements. But I'm still seeing yours. That upsets me. You don't want to upset me.

It kind of bothers me I don't know why? Maybe I'm thinking about her way too much. Has she thought about me? I don't know I'm trippin......
