bactabeven Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 My boyfriend and I had continually had rough patches... and it's only been three months. We've been friends for close to 2 years now and told him initially no to dating. He persisted and I am with him and happily, when he's around. Now, it's been 4 weekends almost in a row that were with him being Missing In Action. No phone contact, nothing. I spoke to him all last week (during the week) and starting Saturday, again, I do not hear from him at all. I haven't seen him in over a week and we were supposed to see each other on Sunday. He completely bails on me and doesn't contact me until Monday morning saying that he didn't receive my messages because his phone wasn't working, so he got a new one. Now it works. I called him twice on Sunday, once I was forwarded to voicemail... I don't think this is a just reason for ditching me to meet up after not seeing each other for over a week. What could be his problem? He's very adoring when he's actually with me, but it's just not often enough. And it's always on his term. I care for him dearly and I'm confused because its different, depending on the day of the week.
stefspets Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Because he's with his other girlfriends on the weekend? Not contacting you at all is pretty rude. Based on only that I wouldn't keep him around.
Geishawhelk Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Caling him BF is a misnomer. Try "Ex". Or better still, "jerk of an Ex".
CBR_pilot Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Move on. Being "Missing in Action" that often, and for that long means that he's avoiding you for some reason (probably because he's with someone else...)
