The waiting game.... Did I get blown off? Should I wait longer before I give up?

I just need to know you opinion! You guys haven't steered me wrong yet so I really value your guy's opinion

 

Ok, So, I went to see this guy that I have been kinda talking to, he had a massage booth at a fair and he invited me to go see him...so of course I did, well then I asked him if he wanted to go see a movie and he said yes and that he was looking forward to it, well the night we had picked to go see a movie he called me and said that he was going to go check out a band that he may be singing with and he wanted to go listen to them to see if they were any good{He is a lead singer}, which was ok because I was really tired and wanted to go to bed, so he said, "I will definately call you in a couple of days" Well, that was on Sunday night, Did I get blown off? Should I wait longer before I give up on him? How long is a couple of days in boy time??? Do you think he is no longer interested?

he might be interested, maybe not. this is pretty lukewarm. go forth and harvest new boys - if he calls, he calls. if not, who cares?

 

i hate, hate, hate, that things are like this: but don't call him. don't email him. you asked him out already, you absolutely can not make the next chess move.

 

if he had shown himself to be a different sort of boy, the rules can be different, but not here. spend time indulging your own interests, etc.

I think it's terrible that he cancelled on you on the night of the movie like that. That shows poor character on his part and you are probably lucky to be rid of him..

Hello Everyone it's me again I want to thank you guys for the advice....You guys kinda open my eyes a little bit and made me a little more cautious, but he did call last night, so I am pretty excited about it!

 

Clancy, Yes I need to work on that with him...but I just figure that we aren't at the point yet where I would want him to give up something that could be good for him, for me, I would never want that but especially now, his dream is to sing so if the opprutunity comes along for him and it means that we have to reschedule a movie, then I am fine with it....I wish he would have ask me to come along,but I understand that we are getting closer but we aren't at the close point yet. We need to get to know eachother a little more. But thanks for your opinion! I really appreciate it.

 

Also Jenny, thanks for your input also! Yes, it's not the end of the world if he hadn't called, I just think he is such a great guy and even if nothing comes of a relationship, I would still want to be his friend, if anything, so that is why I was a little down about him not calling. I try not to call or contact him unless he calls or contacts me first....I don't want to come off as a psycho and freak him out, because I am nothing like that. I just want him to see me as the fun person I am....

I am a torchered soul here & could use some good advice. I am fallen for my stepsister (who is not blood-related & we did not grow up together either) but the problem is I think she only thinks of my as a big brother figure. I have tried to keep a distance so this would not happen but I think it has anyways. I see her as a beautiful & sweet girl who is showing more & more of the qualities I look for in a woman as each day passes. How do I make her think of me differently...as a guy that she would want an intimate & romantic relationship with? It just seems like we would be the perfect couple. I want to tell her how I feel but can't based on the circumstance unless she tells me first or gives me a good sign that she is interested in me. How do I make this happen? Please help
