Combos Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 What does it mean when a H sends a "friendship" card to spouse? H and I have been having some problems and he has not really shown any kind of caring, affection toward me in months. Does this mean he is starting to come around or does it mean that he is just wanting to be friends? He also left a personal note with the card. I could use some good advice on how to approach H on how to get back to where we were before we had our out. I have a hotel room booked for my next two days off. I have a card that I am going to give him and it will have the hotel room key in it. I will also be taking him out to dinner. How do I go about telling him that we need to REALLY talk and get back on the same emotional page. Any men who are reading this please feel free to tell me what you would think if your wife went out to "romance" you and want to rekindle what you had and embrace what was to come. I really want my marriage to work and I want back what we had....how can I tell he wants the same thing?
Geishawhelk Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 How long have you been married? Your communication skills must be really up the creek if you're asking US what your own Husband means by something..... Tell you what - why not just go ahead and do what you were going to do, and ask him face-to-face? In order for a relationship to work, communication has to be a constant. Try it. You just open your mouth and let the words come out. I'm not being faceitious here. I really mean it. People don't 'talk' enough.
Mr. Lucky Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 What does it mean when a H sends a "friendship" card to spouse? It means that in our own ignorant male way, he put the effort into buying you a card and writhing you a nice note. Accept it as that ... Mr. Lucky
