I defend him because I know he is a hard working man, yes he does coke when he is out but he works so hard and likes to chill out

My child is my top priority but when he tells me that he wants to spend time with me without Mickey I feel like I am not allowed a life of my own as I have been single since me and his dad split up.

No one has cared for me like Mickey has, he really pays me alot of attention and even though he has no children, he is great with mine.

I'm not sure where you live, but last time I checked - doing coke is ILLEGAL. Punsishable by death in some countries, if not by serious hard time in others...huge red flag. If you value yours and your sons safety, you'd have nothing to do with this man...

Ruby - are you SURE you're 44 years old? You sound like a 17 year old dumbass teenager defending some other dumbass 17 year old teenager who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

How amusing that he resents his last girlfriend because she had a PROBLEM with his 'going out' and getting drugged up on Coke. Imagine that.

Guess what? Alot of us working stiffs work hard but that doesn't mean we entitled to go out and get drugged up like a flaming a*sshole.

But you keep making excuses for Mr. Wonderful. If you're not a troll (and I'm thinking you are) it won't be long before you're back, crying into your soup about how this mutant did you wrong.

I suggest the thread end here. The OP asked for advice that she is not ready to hear. Let her continue (as she is going to anyway) with the mistake that will show it's ugly face soon enough.

Poor kid.

(I like to chill out after work, too, as I am also a hard worker. However, that usually happens with a LEGAL glass of wine or a LEGAL comfort dinner with a LEGAL movie and LEGAL bubble bath and LEGAL slippers.

You're allowed a life of your own, to do whatever you please, AS SOON AS YOUR CHILD IS GROWN. Sorry, but when you become a parent you need to look out for the welfare of your kids.

So your son wants to spend time with you ALONE without the cokehead around and all you can think about are your own wants? Totally selfish. I hope your child gets taken away so you can do whatever you want.

Enjoy the "honeymoon" phase, as I'm sure it won't last.
