Im not trying to sound like a pussy. I got my pride. Doing NC. Just venting. One moment Im feeling good without her. Next I miss what we had more than anything. I replay everytime she made me feel like I was the most extraordinary man on Earth. Then I wonder what went wrong. Then I usually take 4-5 minutes to listen to a song to make me feel worse to try to get more of it out. Then I'll check my phone for texts, myspace for messages, my inbox for emails. Then eventually I get angry. Then normal.

AND REPEAT THE PROCESS

It's all normal in the coping process. Going through these never ending cycles is what happens to probably everyone who ever experienced a breakup. It becomes an OCD thing.

Luckily, the more time passes, the less you think about your breakup. Plus, if you take active steps towards moving on, it'll go away even sooner. It gets easier with time.

Hey bro....don't feel bad, I'm going through the same thing. It is apart of the coping process. I hate feeling this way, it has affected my job performance and my everyday activities. Only recently have I started to return to normalcy (eating, etc).

From my past experiences I can say that what you're feeling is 100% normal. All part of healing. you're not sounding like a pussy- you are sounding like a human.

This breakup I'm dealing with this time is hardly "normal" so none of the normal things seem to apply. I even tried to miss my ex and could not do it. I looked at some pics and put on some music that ought to bring me to my knees and nothing happened. I feel "sad" but for some reason I'm not going through all the normal stages. Maybe its because of all the emotional/mental abuse I've dealt with. Maybe its my age. not sure yet.

But yeah- you sound perfectly normal to me. Better that you deal withand allow yourself to have feelings then to deny them, jump into a rebound thing, or otherwise avoid them. Eventually it should pass and you'll get back to normal life a little at a time.

Peace,
