moonshadow Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Ha ha! Oh I dont know about that. Weve pretty much gotten to the point of wishing each other well in our searches and asking each other if we have other friends to fix us up with. Which is total crap but I dont think this could have ended any other way. He is telling me that if he met someone and they clicked then he would be good to go. I just dont think that his methods are on the same page with how I like to date. But you were right. Hes a bitter jaded guy (told me that I dont know what horrible dating experiences he has had from online dating and thats why he is how he is now) who is trying to pass it off like hes not as bitter. Now hes asking if I have phone pics of my friends as we offered to find each other dates. Yick. No offense but what is wrong with YOU? I'm assuming you're close to his age (39) - seriously, don't you have much better things to do with your time than carrying on with this nonsense? Are you that desperate to find a man that you're continuing to communicate with a man who clearly had no respect for you or your time? He's asking for pics of your friends because you offered to help one another find dates? WTF? You've got some serious issues, truly.
kashmir Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 I know!!!!!!!! And this is after he called me on Tuesday and we talked for over two hours. Men. Men? LOL. Yeah, guys text too much, but girls are just as bad.
Author Alpha Female Posted December 27, 2008 Author Posted December 27, 2008 Scratch that. He didnt ask for pics of my friends - he asked for pics of me. Why, I dont know. Now he is describing his ideal woman as me. lol.
carhill Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 I hate texting. Posting? Well, that's another matter Romantic situations and friendships? Only verbal communication and pressing the flesh. Much more pleasurable
kashmir Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 I agree with whomever posted above me. God damnit, just stop communicating.
Author Alpha Female Posted December 27, 2008 Author Posted December 27, 2008 He just wrote me: I was actually worried you might look to old. Ive seen 35 year olds that look to old. Never dated someone older than 39. Hot damn! lol. He's a prince!
carhill Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 kashmir, she's normal. Women love this stuff, even if they could care less about the guy. Let her have her fun
moonshadow Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Don't "blame" the texting on him; last time I checked, it' takes 2 to text and you were obviously a very willing participant. Weird, you first say he's requesting pics of friends, now you change it to say he's requesting your pics. Don't you have anything better to do, seriously, than to continue communicating with such a loser, I mean really? He's probably having a good laugh at you; the fact that you'd be so quick to overlook his screw-up with this whole "first meet" thing - yet now you're wasting time by continuing to text with him. Sorry, that's the sign of a very desperate woman; so desperate for attention, even at the expense of her dignity and self-respect. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.
Author Alpha Female Posted December 27, 2008 Author Posted December 27, 2008 kashmir, she's normal. Women love this stuff, even if they could care less about the guy. Let her have her fun Thats true. Im bored. ha ha! But his last comment was out of line. He wrote back and said he has seen women put up pics that were 10 years old and he wasnt trying to be mean, just honest. That my pics were HOT!!! What is wrong with this guy? OK I guess what is wrong with me? lol! I told him to lose my number.
carhill Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 I told him to lose my number. Good line. Gotta admit it got the juices flowing though, right? Kinda fun. It's really fun with the right guy or gal. I remember bantering with my wife on ICQ back when it was new. Even after we got married we'd do it while in the same house, me in the bedroom on my laptop and her in the kitchen. Bad girl

He wrote back that he was so sorry and that I shouldnt take his comment to heart. That he hasnt even met me. And so you shall not!!! Seriously what kind of an idiot talks like this? Its like he has tourettes or something.
Capricciosa Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 It's a lot of drama for someone you never met. And aren't your fingers tired from all the texting you're doing? I think you're still interested...

I think you're still interested... No I stopped writing him a while ago after I told him to lose my number and he wrote me back after that. I was bored. Nothing more. And no. Definitely not interested. He sounds like a jackass and not in a good way.
Shygirl15 Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Whoever said "40s is the new 20s" was absolutely right.
prettybaby Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Whoever said "40s is the new 20s" was absolutely right. Seriously. WTF is this nonsense thread?
