Okay well, he just called me today and asked me out for New Year's eve :love: I'm soooo excited!! It's basically gonna be a small party with his friends who are all couples. I guess this is very good step forward. We haven't kissed yet though (I know!); he's really on the slow/shy side. I'm hoping something will happen on New Year, but that could be kinda awkward with everybody around, no? Ughh, oh well, we'll see.

Even if you don't kiss in the party, just make sure that you too have a good time together. The kiss will come naturally, don't force it. Looking at your situation and your post, you two are basically a couple.
