I really like this girl alot and I don't want it to be a rebound or whatever, but it seems like daily for a little bit my cheating ex floats in my mind and stupid thoughts like what if she came back even though I don't want her back.

I think your first sentence means that it's worth a try dating this girl. I think about my ex every day too, but dating has done me the world of good.

if you like her then just keep getting to know her...are you sure you like her though or you just enjoy her company? I went on dates thought I liked the person, then completely realized I wasn't ready. It depends, only you can answer that for yourself. My advice is keep getting to know her better, if she is a good girl..even if you realize you're not into her romantically, she could turn out to be a good friend.

At first it was the company I won't lie, but I like her alot now, so much if my ex came back the only reason I would say screw you get away from me is because of this new girl. I guess I won't really know until I go out on a date with her.

There's no harm in dating. If you find it's not for you, and you're not ready yet, that's ok, but there's only one way to find out.

Yes, please let us know the outcome. It's easy to move on, but let us know!

Yay! If you really like the new girl, you won't have any problems telling your ex to get lost. I told mine to get lost

Keep us posted!

Well the first date was good, I've been talking to her for months now, i think she is the only reason while i'm almost over my ex. She's going back to school and it's about 3 hours away, but she invited me over for a weekend in a few weeks. No I'm not going to have sex with her or anything, but I am going to visit her for the weekend life is to short and I have nothing holding me back.
