My partner of five plus years let me go in May this year and whilst I'm starting to get things together I still love her and miss her every single day.

So the good news for all of you is that it does get a little easier every day.

But I know with Chistmas coming up that I am starting to feel the loss and hurt again and - particularly for those of you here who have broken up more recently - I know that this time of year is likely to be very hard for you.

It probably doesn't mean much, but from somebody who has been and still is in that raw emotional place I would like to wish you all LOVE, PEACE, COMFORT & BLISS during the festive season.

And I especially hope that at least some of you get that special Christmas miracle that I know we are all secretly hoping for.

I agree this will be my first christmas alone in a long time, no family no friends, no fiance, ah maybe I'll go volunteer somewhere.

Thank you spike and same to you.

Its going to be exactly one month on Christmas day since my BF or 3.5 years dumped me, so it is still very fresh, i was out Christmas shopping the other day for family and without realising it, i saw many things for my EX and naturally said oh he would love that, of course right after thinking that the reality surfaced.:(

On a happier note, Merry Christmas and happy new year to all.
