Either they are good liars or I am a rarity.... things that make you go..hmmmmmmmmmmm. based on the infinitely little what i know about you based on posts + picture, the reason you're funny is because you're dorky and somewhat awkward. ladies, take note --> if you want to be funny, that's the way to go

Of course it's a good thing --> I think that that's the true meaning of "down to earth". And the reason why it can be funny is because guys can relate to that much easier than to some front-cover look/attitude. (We'd still hit it, mut mostly for scientific purposes - it's like having sex with an alien life form.). Anyho', the fondest memories of my ex i have all relate to little funny quirks she had, not just her hott azzz.

[/Quote] I find that very rare, too. My bf and I laugh ALL the time together but that's just because we have a similar sense of humor. It's not as if I think he or I could be a stand up comedian. We laugh at stupid sh@!. That's what we do! But as women, I think we are raised to laugh at men's jokes in order to make them feel better about themselves. I don't always find everything someone says funny, but if I know someone is making a joke, I normally laugh. I'm sure guys take that as a sign that I think they're hilarious, but in reality, I just want to get the thing over with. And I also laugh 'cause sometimes what's said is undeniably lame. When it comes to stand up, I find both chics and guys funny. I do think it's rare to find someone that is honestly roll on the floor hysterically funny. I have never really met a person like that in real life. Most people, to me, are just fun to laugh with and that's bout it.

This isn't what people are saying (or at least I'm not). When I think of who cracks me up most out of my friends, it tends to be men. When I think of comedians who make me laugh most, it tends to be men. This, I think, is what people are basing their opinions on regarding who is funnier, not if they think they themselves are funny.

My best friend and i crack up to the point of tears over the STUPIDEST things, but we think we are funny. lol We really know that half the crap we are saying is only funny to us, but we know how to make each other laugh. Maybe I am lucky, but I have a lot of funny girlfriends. I also can kick it with the guys pretty well though. The problem with that is that I am usually their "friend" because we can shoot the**** so easily and crack up laughing.

Although you would NEVER know it by my other posts on this board ( ;-) ), I would say about 70-80% of the time I'm laughing and smiling about something silly. Hahaha!! I always have such a good time. The other night, I went to see a concert my BF put on at a Church. There was a guy in his 60's that was a soloist singing in front of the Choir. My BF and I always crack up about this certain singing style that older people have when they try to imitate gospel. This guy was clearly not a gospel singer but was trying to be, and my BF looks over at my from across the room with a huge grin, knowing I was gonna crack up. I had to pinch myself the whole time. I wasn't making fun of the man, it was just that he referenced something that we joke about all the time. I laugh about crap like that ALL the time. And my BF and I watch Mark Wahlberg movies because we love to make fun of him all throughout them.
