LouiseC Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Well my ex has now informed me - being truthful for the first time, and him and "his friend" are more than friends. He says they haven't done anything, but I really don't care. He's betrayed and disrespected me, and I want him out as soon as possible. Why can people be such bastards? And do you know what? I don't want to die, I don't want to curl up in a corner and sob my heart out. I want to hold my head and show that I'm better than him. And I bloody will.
Sari Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Oh Louise I am so sorry sweetie. What a f*cking rat. You honestly deserve to be treated much better than this, and in time you will find someone who has enough respect and love for you to stay with you through the good times and the bad. I know this will be cold comfort but at least you know what kind of guy he is now, a cold fish who will ensure his own happiness comes before those he claims to love, a selfish, untrustworthy sh*t. You will feel anger and pain still but try to hold on to the feeling of rising above it all, you don't need a toxic relationship with this toxic man. Thank God this all happened before the wedding too. I know all this will be cold comfort but cling on to the fact that you were decent and honourable throughout your relationship, and he does not deserve your tears or sadness now. Big big hugs xxx
EmperorR Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 ah the friend, word of advice to anyone who has been dumped, the new friend is more than a friend. "he's just a friend, I'd never date him". Heard that line to many time.
alone_confused Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I'm so sorry to hear that, but keep up the great positive thinking!
