Tiny_Toony Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 So i was with this guy for 7 months and he cheated on me, and he's currently with the girl that he cheated on me with. I'm over him, but i need to know why he keeps coming back. And the reason for me thinking about this, is because i've recently been having dreams about him. After we broke up and they were together, he came home((they had a long distance relationship with occasional visits)) and called me, i admit, i was still in love with him, so i went to his house, and one thing lead to another, she found out, all hell broke loose and now we're basically enemies. But, even after she found out, he'd still drop by my house unexpectedly and acted like he really missed me. But, it somehow eventually got to the point where we didn't see each other anymore and didn't talk nice anymore, and us 3, me, him and his girlfriend, ended up talking **** to each other. But, on July 30th, he stopped by my house. I wasn't home because my grandmother died that very morning and i was with my family, planning a funeral. So, my mom answered the door and he asked if i was home, she said "No, She's not here, her grandma died this morning" and he acted all concerned and asked my mom if it was her mom, obviously no. and he said sorry and all that. My mom asked what he wanted, and he said to talk to me about his girlfriend. and my mom told him "I don't think she ever wants to talk to you again." and she said that he had a surprised look on his face and said "really?" and she said "yup". Which is basically wanted for her to say. So, my question is.....What is up with him? Why is he doing this? Why did he do it? And if it was for his girlfriend, then why couldn't he just Message me or call me about it? Sorry that it was so long, kinda felt you need the whole story to understand.
lonelygurl Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 My best guess for why he keeps coming over is one you let him and two he can keep you on the side incase things don't work out well with the new g/f. I learned this the hard when when my X and I split the first time. He kept coming over and I thought maybe he would change his mind, but found out later that all along he had a new g/f. He was waiting to see how things would go with the new g/f. Once he felt things were good with her he dropped me like a hot potato. Don't let him come around and I would really suggest you cut off all contact.

I haven't talked to him...well..November of 2007. but, he keeps trying to contact me. I haven't seen him since then also. So that's why i wonder why he keeps coming around. The only person i've really talked to is his girlfriend and thats because she keeps starting fights with me.

Benique Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 He wants you as his backup gf . he is not sure in his present gf , so needs to have else one spare ... I `d drop him in your place and would not have any hopes for any stable future with him .
