hereandnow Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I've noticed that my ex has started showing up more at places she knows I will be at. I saw her Friday, which has been the usual day we tend to run into each other. So she knows where I would usually go on Saturdays and Mondays, and has not shown up at either place since the breakup. The breakup was almost 2 months ago. She showed up at this place on Saturday, told me "long time no see" (she had seen me the night before) and we chatted for a minute and we both decided we should catch up. We never did talk after that so tonight (Monday) she showed up again. It surprised me a good bit and we talked for a short while after the meeting. She asked me if it was all right that she showed up there, she wasn't sure if she should, but she "took the risk." So anyway we talked nice and light and happy and we parted ways. Is anyone else familiar with this kind of thing? Is she curious to see how I'm doing without her now? For the first three weeks after the break I attempted to get her back, nothing too dramatic or stalk-ish. We'd talk or e-mail every 3 or 4 days or so. Then I told her it was best for me not to hear from her. That lasted 9 days and then we started running into each other again. I'm wondering if the lack of any real attempts to reconnect romantically over the past month have her peeking around to see what the deal is.
