mswonderful Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 To wrap up the saga of Online guy.... I was and still am attracted to him physically, mentally, etc... Had a great time with him, he treated me particularly wonderful on our dates.... Our last date was honestly the best date I've ever been on (Thursday Dec. 4th), I am 100% positive he had a great time and was into me physically as well, he texted me the night after the date, I called him the Sunday after, and he never returned my call. Wonderful. yeah, I get it. He's not into me. I'm not gonna lie, I would love to hear from him. But at the same time, I wish he knew how much he pissed me off and how rude he was in completely ignoring me. Should I "close the match" on the dating website? Should I text him and ask what happened? Or should I just be the submissive female and let the wind take it all away... I know I can't force interest. But I wish I had an explanation. It sucks, too, because we go to all the same hangout places (it turned out we lived very close together) and I just know I'll see him around eventually. Ugh.

Normally, I would say Its ok and grown up to say.."Hey, I was so sure we were going to click, I'm disappointed we didnt, but it was nice to meet you." The only problem lies in that you could run into him again locally. AND he didnt return your call. You have to leave it at that. So far, you have behaved 100% correctly and he knows the onus is on him. He will know he is an ass when you run into him and dont immediately recognize him or call him by a name similar to, but not, his own. You will be fne.
