Jim82 Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Today I was at the fitness center and I saw my ex there(we broke up about 2 weeks ago) and she came over to me and asked me for my phone because she said she had to use it. So I let her and she just ran off with it. So im like ok. So I started working out and she eventually came back in and gave my phone to me to look at it. So I looked at it and her picture was on the background, and on the display it said she loved me. haha could someone please tell me what that means?
Author Jim82 Posted December 16, 2008 Author Posted December 16, 2008 What? haha I know for a fact that she does not have a new boyfriend
Author Jim82 Posted December 16, 2008 Author Posted December 16, 2008 lol I did...I texted her thats an interesting background whats that for? And all she said is you better not take it off. So Im not sure
DSM-IV Tom Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Why do you keep laughing? Didn't you get dumped? Way to be heartless! Lol!
Author Jim82 Posted December 16, 2008 Author Posted December 16, 2008 Hahahaha. Tommy I was laughing because your answer was rather (how can I say this). Non logical or stupid if you can understand that better. Have a nice day.
DSM-IV Tom Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 My replies were exactly what they needed to be in order for me to get a feel for what type of person you are, in the quickest manner possible. Mission accomplished. Forgive the mind games, they were necessary and carefully calculated. It's time to get real, brother. You want help, don't act like you don't care. If it's funny, then why are you looking for advice/help. Right? Jimmy? It's only a funny game, isn't it? Hahahaha Hahaha. ... No. Cut the games. Share your real pain, so we can actually help. When you hold up a shield here, you're protecting yourself not from pain, but from the clarity of our advice. And if it IS truly funny to you, then the type of help you need, isn't the type of help a breakup forum can offer. You know?
DSM-IV Tom Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Thank you Lishy, I like you too. And I want to get to the bottom of this, as far as Jimmy goes. Let's see what happens.
Mr.D Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Its her immature way of saying "Jim, I wanted to see if you would really take me back". First off, this is an extremely childish way to do such a thing. You run into her at the gym and she snatches your cellphone? Come on now! Should she be at the gym or the daycare. Tell her to grow the hell up. Oh and I hope that isn't your friend that commented this above me. Thats bad advice. Your True Friend.
dns502475 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 The VERY first thing it was intended to do was to see what you've been up to since the breakup. Believe me, Jim, she COMBED through that thing better than a CSI unit. She looked at texts, any new numbers, old numbers, recent calls, and checked your voicemail, lol. It's easier to do this than to say "hey, have you been missing me and going through the correct amount of emotional turmoil for not having me in your life any longer?" Why is she so suspicious of you engaging in all of that kind of behavior? Well, it's exactly what Tom said...because she's doing that exact same thing herself. It's just a little mind game she's playing just to keep you into her. From such a childish stunt, it sounds like she really likes the attention. The next time she asks for your phone...say no, Jim. But if you do decide to give it to her, then at least have some new phone numbers and a few suggestive (not lewd) texts and pics in it as a little lesson to her about not asking for things you really don't want to know about.
Author Jim82 Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 You know what I was sick of all this bs, so today I had one of the girls I have been talking to take a picture on my phone and just before I went to the fitness center I changed the picture to the background of my phone. I saw her and she said let me see your phone so I did then I walked off...before I knew it I heard her scream HELL NO and she came up to me and said you can have this back thats the ugliest background I have ever seen. And the girl was way better looking than her. So two can play at this game, and yeah she is so immature it drives me nuts. What do you think was that genius or what? obviously she still wants me back if she said that stuff. But the question is do I want her back? hahahahahahahahaha

DSM-IV Tom Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I am officially diagnosing Jim as a Narcissist. Where are you bean, I DARE you to challenge my diagnosis. But seriously. This kid is more deluded than a cheap bars liquor. You must work on yourself Jim. This isn't healthy. You are accusing her of being immature, yet here you are being less mature than someone who isn't even born yet. That's called a hypocrite, brother. Are you seriously so full of yourself that you assume she clearly wants you back? Yet you don't want her back? Get a grip man you need to fix your problems if you want to ever have a healthy relationship... or hell, even a healthy personal mind.
Author Jim82 Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 Hey Tommy I think thats a little rash I might be an a-hole and sarcastic but you have to admit I did a damn good job on that one, she got taken to the cleaners and back? haha the look on her face was priceless. But dns I did do what you said. Now what?
DSM-IV Tom Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 While I do think most girls are crazy (lol) I don't know enough about yours to discern whether or not what you did is any measure of justified. Why did she break up with you? Did she cheat on you? How old are you two? Answer these questions so I can get a better understanding.
Author Jim82 Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 Tom she did break up with me(imagine that) because she said the whole world did not revolve around me. And she said she still had feelings for me when she broke up with me. But she said she was always with me. And Tom I am not trying to pick a fight. I am 18, and I do not think putting me down is really necessary either.
DSM-IV Tom Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 See the problem Jim is you're either saying what you're saying on purpose to annoy/troll people... or you really have a problem and are far too self focused. Putting you down is certainly what you need if you're self focused. It's the best and only medicine that has any chance of helping you.
Author Jim82 Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 Tom I swear im not trolling everything I am saying is true. But you probably will not believe me since im a so called "narcissist"
DSM-IV Tom Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I wasn't being serious. I can't diagnose you as a narcissist when I know so little. Can you tell me how long you guys dated? You said she broke up with you because the world doesn't revolve around you, right? That's real?
Author Jim82 Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 Like 2 weeks. And yes thats what she said.
