rod_in_gtown Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 I'm usually all about "take a chance, the worst thing that can happen is she'll say no". Well I was out celebrating last night at a club in my neigborhood and there was a wedding party there also having a good time, This gorgeous tall blonde keept meeting my eyes and we ended up flirting shamelessly back and forth. She was so goofy trying to dance and clearly had no rhythm, I found it to be incredibly cute and endearing. I didn't work up the courage to go and introduce myself. Ugh, what an idiot I am. I did decide I was going to go talk to her after the club was closed but as I approached her they got into a cab and left...

Author rod_in_gtown Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 You don't know what craigslist is? you must not be from the US. Craigslist is sort of like a public service community where you can post things to buy or sell, meet, rent, etc. they didn't charge for any of their services until recently when they started to charge for job postings. The owner lives in San Francsico and it's one of those independent sites that aren't tainted still by corporate america. Missed connections is a place there where you post if you saw someone and they saw you but you didn't make a connection (exchange phone numbers etc), sort of a "second chance" ad page.

Lucky_One Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Look in the Sunday paper Wedding section and see if you can recognize the bride by her picture. Google her, and then send her a short note and asking for her friend's name and number.

The bride wasn't there, Usually the bride and groom leave after the reception to go on their honeymoon, so the wedding party takes off after they're kicked out of the reception hall. So even if I do look in the paper, I wouldn't know who to look for.
