chasingrainbows25 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I recently had a night out with some work colleagues from the other end of the country and ended up spending the majority of the evening in the company of one man in particular. We chatted easily and had a really nice time. Throughout the evening we were mostly separate from the rest of the group chatting about life and found we had very similar interests and had recently been through some life changing experiences which were spookily similar. The night ended with about 4 of us saying goodnight and he leaned in, kissed me on the cheek and held me quite close. I got the impression he didnt want to let go but as we parted and continued to say our goodnights I felt his hand touch mine and hold it for a moment. I didnt see him the next day/morning as I had to leave early but I sent a txt later in the day saying I hoped he had got home safe and thanking him for his company. He replied thanking me and saying how much fun he had had and that we'd speak soon. Now my question is, how do I proceed with this. I would like to spend some more time with this man as he makes me smile and I did enjoy his company very much. He is single but has been seeing someone off and on for a few months however during his conversation he explained several times that it was nothing serious, just infrequent dating. Our paths rarely cross in our work life. I want to have lunch/dinner with this man, get to know him a bit better and just at a loss on how to make it happen or even let him know that I could be interested. Any ideas ?
Gremio Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Do you live across country from him? Is he only in town for a short time? I would take it slow. You stated he said "we'd speak soon". If she, I would assume he will be contacting you. If he went to hold your hand and make contact, he is 100% interested in you.
