I'm just curious for all of you wise dating veterans out there. :p Did any of you break up with someone when you were younger (and still immature) only to realize it was a huge mistake? More importantly, do you ever still wonder "what could have been" many years down the road with that person? I know most people will say there's plenty of fish in the sea and you'll realize that person wasn't right for you anyway, but humor me with this.

Yeah, I see you've been having some bad luck lately. Sorry man.

No it's okay man. It's not about feeling sorry for yourself... sometimes its about just making yourself happy. I just flirt with girls and stuff and it helps lol. I'm not trying to go around using girls for sex or anything but... flirting with girls helps a lot.

Shows you the world is still revolving.

the only time was my first real GF in college. I was young and wanted to be free and date around and man. She really. Loved me.

She gave love unconditionally to me.

I didn't know how rare that was then.

I broke her heart and at the time I didn't think twice. She sucked it up like a true lady would and moved on.

Two years later, I was sitting at my desk at work, and it hit me. Bam! I really did love her.

I called her, went to see her, she was single, she looked amazing, I told her how I felt and apologized and she just looked right through me. She had waited two years to tell me that she had been over me for a long time.

She recently got married and I was and am truly happy for her that she found someone to love and who loved her back and I have nothing but good wishes for her and her new family. Her husband is a lucky man because she really is a great person.

but man. Even writing this, I couldn't help but think about what would have happened if I went left instead of right at that moment.
