Hah, I love short guys!!

Sh*t, I thought I was average height. Guess not! No, but sometimes I wonder if my height is an impediment. I am a musician and a pretty cool dude, IMHO, but I wonder if ALL women are looking for a 6-ft. minimum guy.

By this thread, we can see that...

You sound really confused and because you claim to be hot, you're probably a little shallow because you seem to think that's the only reason this guy wants to go out with you. He might just be a little hesitant, or maybe he doesn't like short girls?

Average is 5'8" believe it or not...women want a confident guy. If you're confident and 5'6" you'll be more attractive than the 6'6" guy who is shy and not confident.

Good points - I think the thing we ALL need to get away from , is worrying about whether or not we are "good enough" for someone else.

You're good enough for yourself. Don't let other peoples' retarded judgments about your physicality affect you. OP, if you like the guy - who the f*ck cares that he is so much taller than you.

Answer: YOU care, because you are still quite caught up with what others think of you.

Question: Why is it that we place so much importance on the opinions of strangers, while treating those that love us like sh*t?

IMO there is no such thing as a too tall for a guy

Well my sister is 5'1 and her husband is 6'9. I admit they look kinda funny together at first but after a while you just get used to it. Neither of them have ever mentioned it being a problem (well except for the fact that if they fall asleep cuddling she doesn't have the strength to get out from under him lol). On the plus side she always has someone to get things from the high shelf or pick up the heavy piece of furniture! The thing is though, they love each other very much and i think when you feel that way about someone you don't even notice those type of things. Don't force a relationship with this guy though if his height really bothers you, it won't make either of you happy!

So, I've been on about 6 dates with this really really sweet guy.

So, how does it feel when he kisses you?

You can't force that. It's either there or it's not. Compatibility is important, but that feeling of desire and wanting to be intimate has to be there or things aren't going anywhere, short or tall.

Well I guess as long as we two are getting along and he likes you for who you are and not pressuring you for sex then ok it can work out.
