I had a first date that I thought went well. We were on the date for quite a few hours and the date got hot and heavy but not totally insane :)

Anyway.. That was a week and a half ago and the only communication he has sent me was a casual text 6 days ago. On our date he said we should go out again... Now since no contact I assume no interest... BUT I am curious why he decided not to date me again.

Ladies or guys.. what do you think? Is it okay if I try to find out why? If so what should I say?

Its just bothering me ...

Thanks..

I can't explain it either. Most men will only date a girl one time and then disappear. There are no clear explanations but only assumptions:

He was attracted to you before he met you but then he lost interest afterwards

He found someone and couldn't bother with you

He lost his phone and couldn't get back to you

He's too busy to date

They're not very comforting to tell yourself so you might as well just chalk the experience to bad luck and move on.

This isn't true, I think chances of getting to a second date are generally around 50-50 if date 1 goes well.

There are countless reasons why guys don't call back, and not all of them have anything to do with physical attraction, if that makes you feel any better.

He changed his mind.

Did you act needy or clingy? If so, that would cause me to back off really quickly. You might just call him up and say, "Sorry I've been really busy and haven't been able to hang out or go out here recently, do you wanna go grab drinks on {insert day and time here}?" Even if you've been sitting by the phone waiting for him to call, at least he'll think you've been busy and not too wrapped up on him after only one date.
