And for a while I had been in love with him too...so I told him I loved him too. And we stayed together for another month. But then he broke up with me. I was heart broken. He was my first love. I never lost my love for him. I still love him now. But a few days later, he said he still loved me and he never would stop. I can't tell if he is lying or not...any help? He says he still loves me...
Geishawhelk Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Yes, I'm sure he loves you. He's just not IN love with you. The first thing you should do is to establish complete and total No Contact. He might not see the need or reason, but then, he's not the one writing on a forum with a broken heart, is he...? Ask him please to not contact you again, and to let you get over this. Then you do the same. You must do this. Erase all possible contact avenues, and pick up the pieces of your life, and go on without him. Look. The world is still turning, people are still going to work every day, and stand in a crowd, and there are countless people around you going through emotional issues too. Life goes on. It will get better. But for now, give yourself the much-needed time and space to heal.

Your best option is unfortunately not one which you would want to hear... that is, it is time to move on and move on without him.
