When should I call???

I know this might be a lame question but I had a first date with a guy on Wednesday and it was fantastic. We ended it and he said he wanted to hang out again. I left him a voicemail on Friday afternoon saying I had a good time and just seeing how he was. Since I did not hear back I figured a text on Sunday morning was fine. That was the last I was going to contact him and assume if interested he would call. He finally texted back hours later.

 

So the lame question is how long should I wait to call or text him back. I dont want to seem like I am chasing him but I do like him.

Just that his weekend was busy with family stuff and wanted to know how im doing...

Tonight should be okay. I really doubt the timing of it will affect his level of interest. Texting is casual.

The date was Wednesday, and he doesn't get back with you until Sunday, and, it was a text? And, that is all he said???

 

I'm sorry, but that is BS.

 

I don't care how busy a person is, if he or she is genuinely interested, they will take out ten minutes to pick up the phone.

 

After all, wouldn't you if you were still busy?

 

He is either not interested (or luke warm) or he is playing that stupid waiting game.

Yeah I hear ya...Since the text he has not responded yet. I know I should not be expecting everyday communication after one date but he probably should have made a little effort..

 

Sux cause the date was real good and had so much potential..
