Chatted online with a man I think i might have already fallen for:

Chain of events:

1. long phone conversations

2. had a short meeting at a mutual place .. ackward but definatley a connection

3. Official date that went AMAZING.. just felt right. (FYI-NO SEX INVOLVED)

4. Still text and talk almost everyday

Questions:

1. Do I get him anything for Christmas?

2. Do I take down my online profile?

NOTE: :*we are both not into games so we have been upfront about our feelings all along$

1) If you're not a couple, there is no requirement for getting an extravagent presentbBut getting him something shows you care.

2) By online profile, I assume you mean a dating site. I wouldn't change it until there is a committment.

Agree with Gremio! Get him a little something to show he has a place in your heart. But don't get anything too fanciful if he's not your bf by Christmas as it may come accross as trying too hard.

Likewise, don't take down your online profile if you both haven't committed to each other. That's like one-sided commitment on your part...

ashleigh, if you're going to give, give freely. In an LDR situation, don't expect that someone else will return the gift, particularly if you're not exclusive.

LDR as in long distance relationship?

I get it now. :o

It's not an LDR. You met through an online dating site and are now continuing to communicate through electronic mediums.

Okay, I'll revamp what I said. If you're in a non-exclusive dating situation, give freely if you're going to give at all. Don't expect a reciprocal gift and if he does give you one, that's one sweet guy. :)

LOL!! Thanks...yeah.. we met online then in person and now continue to talk via text and phone until the next time we meet (we both have children so it's is challenging to plan a date and expecially with the holidays)

I will do it with an open mind.. and hold out hopes he will do the same :)
