How many dates, weeks, months before sex?

Just wondering when dating someone whats the average time frame before your girlfriend, boyfriend will sleep with you?

I do not think there's any rule on this. It all depends on how much chemistry you have, some would say. But my personal rule is to avoid intimacy during first few dates/weeks regardless of chemistry.

For me it just depends on the situation, but at least a month for sure! I have never done the deed before then.

I prefer to wait but I don't have a set limit. My first LTR many years ago, we had sex the first night we were a couple. I don't regret it, but I would have rather waited.

 

I'm against one night stands and rushing into things. Taking it slow and really knowing someone makes that connection more wonderous.

I've had it 2nd date and I can tell you that it's never quite as good as waiting for 1 month or more for some reason. Maybe I enjoy the chase and anticipation of things to come. Sex too soon kills it for me. I prefer 1 month or so is ideal.
