Gremio Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Men suck, that's why. I hate when someone says a particularly sex sucks. The problem lies within the person or the people they have dated, not the three billion members of the opposite sex.
Isolde Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Teeth?! This is coming from someone who wrote a thread called "I'm Superficial." I would never dream of rejecting someone because of ONE TINY FLAW. I think slightly crooked teeth are an endearing quality in both men and women. If this is the reason, then he must be shallow to a level I've never heard of.

This is going back to years ago, but when I was younger, I couldn't date a woman with a large nose, e.g. like a parrot beak. I couldn't even stand to look at someone with a nose like that! As I've matured, I've moved past thinking like that.

I heard somewhere that men over 30 are less picky about how women look, do you think there's truth to that in general?

I heard somewhere that men over 30 are less picky about how women look, do you think there's truth to that in general? I'm not too sure. I'm in the mid 20s. don't get me wrong, it's a slight turn off to me, but before it was a huge NO WAY, now I can look past it. Don't get me wrong, I typically date women who are an 8-10 on a scale (of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder) but an intellect and personality are a must or a relationship won't be made. I was with a woman who I thought was perfect. 104lbs, blonde, blue eyes, size 0, AMAZING ass, bachelors degree, great job and money. But she didn't have street smarts. She had no intellect. She couldn't hold a serious conversation with me, and I started to get bored. I loved her so much but as we got deeper into our relationship, I knew it wouldn't last. I tried so hard to make it work but I knew the line was drawn when we went out to a restaurant and I first asked "how was your day hun". Her reply was okay then silence for about ten seconds.
Isolde Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 You probably wouldn't like me, I'm considered attractive but I do have a bigger nose than girls in magazines, etc. It's not a parrot nose, just kinda wide. Funny enough, I'm not particularly attracted to big noses on guys. I think I have enough schnoz for two people.

I work with models often, so I can nitpick all day long about the woman's body because of that, but when it comes to a relationship, I could care less. Like I said earlier though, I am very different as I have matured.
