Green Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I have some family that would definetly apreciate it if I'd come home for thanksgiving. It would take me a few hours to drive home and for the most part it would probably be stresfull and anoying the entire time I was home. I'd really rather just stay at my place and relax maybe even get a few things done but it would hurt my family. I still havn't made my decision up yet if I will be going home. Any one have any thoughts or a similar dilema

Flying up a whole family from Florida to NY is expensive, has possible weather issues, and is a major pain in the azz. I once spent christmas eve in the kentucky airport which is actually located in fruckin Cincinatti !?! SO, I agree to go every OTHER time, thereby splitting the headaches. As long as you're going for x-mas, I think they should understand. Or, as TBF said, come up with a good excuse (car probs, work, already committed to volunteering at the salvation army etc !) We're in daytona beach and are probably going to get a bushel of oysters, some lobsters and beer !
