bmwwilliams Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 My girlfriend of two years has been forced by study commitments to move away for a month, then she'll be back living just outside my city (40 mins from my place) for the rest of the year (studying to be a vet). We had a great relationship, but she's a very needy person, and broke up with me just before she left to try going out with the guy she'll be doing all this with (they didn't choose to be put together) cause she can't handle having a boyfriend she won't see every day. I hate thinking of them together, but I don't want to drop all our connections, cause I feel this is more out of circumstance than anything else? Should I be trying to keep a friendship?
Geishawhelk Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 No. Not on her conditions... Definitely not.
fabulousgal Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I really don't think so. It doesn't sound like she respects you that much to break up with you because of distance. If she is in fact so needy she can't roll with the punches and deal with your relationship hurdles with a vision of being together through it all, and replaces the relationship with someone who is closer in proximity.....she sounds like a flake. im sorry.
alphamale Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Should I be trying to keep a friendship? considering she broke up with you AND moved away i would say no...
