halkitz Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 First, let me say that I'm very inexperienced at dating. I recently broke up with a girlfriend who I had for 5 years. So please don't assume I know anything about women/dating etc., because I don't. So anyway, I met this girl a couple weeks ago. We've been on a few dates and we have a lot in common. It seems like she likes me when I am with her, but, she never calls me and, when I call to see if she wants to do things, she often says she is busy with other things and reschedules for another time. So, she hasn't been avoiding me, she's been answering my calls, IMs, texts, but she never initiates any contact via phone, etc. We were scheduled to go out on a date a few days ago, but she changed the plans at the last minute because a friend from out of town showed up unexpectedly, so she asked if I would come over to her house for dinner instead and eat with him, which I did. The guy just left and I tried to contact her online, she said she was real busy and would call me later, but she never called. What should I do? I really think she likes me, but maybe she doesn't like me that much? Or maybe she is really busy? Should I reach out after a few days of not hearing from her or wait for her to come to me, keeping in mind that I have initiated the contact exclusively for the last week and she has always responded.
Perry Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 It seems that she is busy AND inconsiderate. You should consider talking to her about her behavior, or just stop calling her. Ther are plenty of women to date besides this one.
