some little things that would get a guy to really notice and like you.

Make a point of talking to him, BUT while talking to him make eye contact for a while. I love that kind of stuff. Don't hurl yourself at him either. That makes you look needy and desperate. There's this girl I work with who does that to me. Stuff like "There's this guy in produce (I work at a grocery store) who wants to go out, but he's not as cute as you..." or "My friend was saying that I had to choose between the guy who wanted to go to (insert bar name here) or the Royal (a less than savory bar but has free pool), and you're much cuter...blahblahblahblah."

Don't be a nag.

Maybe slight touching of his arms when joking around.

It all depends on how old you are.;) If you're old enough to go clubbing and to the bars, it'll be easier. Get him to be interested in you too though. See, that's where my coworker runs into problems. I'm less interested in her because she throws herself at me. I'm more interested in another girl because she's less open and more of a challenge and she makes me a little woozy when I talk to her.

Like I tell everyone who ask me...I am a very simple man to get to. Just be honest and say what you mean. If you like me, tell me. If you love me, tell me. And then back it up. That's all. I will let you know if you got it on the spot or what can you do to make me happy. I am that easy.

talking for starters. well for me; to notice someone it depends on their personality. if the right personality and constant attention from a girl clicks; I'd notice them and then foolishly think that I'd need them to notice me too.

and be nice. as in... well I would notice any girl that would give me... special treatment? urgh that came out wrong but anyway you get the point right?

Oh. And surprise me. Don't be a drone and go...Girls don't ask guys out. The guy has to make the first move. Sweet. If you want this die hard romantic who would do everything within his power to sweep you off your feet. You'd better step out of that false social norma. It does not work with me.

Let him know how you feel. Don't complicate your feelings with what ifs. Be open and honest.

Make a point of talking to them, be touchy, have good taste in; food, music, movies, tv and games

Is this question specific to a situation you have?

Personally I like it when a girl smiles and is sincere/bubbly around me. Especially if she has and takes interest in me by asking questions.

Dakota,

Chances are he feels everything you do and is equally afraid to make a move. As you know, the fear of rejection is powerful, especially since you work together.

What do you talk about when you talk? I think if you look back on those conversations and analyze them, you will be able to get an idea what his interests are with you.

If you are afraid of making the first move, I would suggest making those conversations deeper, talk about love and relationships, backgrounds, life stories, etc..figure out ways to give him the green light to move forward.

Take an actual interest in something he likes! You don't even have to pretend to know much about it.

Like, if he has a particular favourite band, say "I hear you like the Stereophonics, i'm trying to get into them, where should I start?"

I'd love a girl to start a convo with me like that 'cause I'd be talking for ages and I would appreciate the thought!

"The only thing you have to regret in life, are the chances you didn't take."

Tell him how you feel. Be honest. If he feels the same (which is sounds like he does) then great! If not, then at least now you can have some peace of mind and move on. Good luck to you! :)

cut the games, and the formulatic and painfully predictable dating "rules and rituals".

I dislike many things in my ex, but once she decided she liked me, I didn't have to waste any more time in guessing and probing. (She showed up at my place with no underwear on...).

The "rules" don't make girls more desireable. Only more annoying . That's why the ones that are the most attractive are the ones who are straightworward in what they want (even if what they want is to have nothing to do with me, no harm done if it's straightforward )

This is what I will say...be honest. Don't seem desparate, don't seem overly anxious, just be straight up about it. I know they all say don't show too much too early, and to a small extent that's true, but I can tell you from dating some pretty closed off women that guessing what's on someone's mind all the time can be incredibly frustrating and annoying. When it's established that you like each other, cut the games out. For both of your sakes.
