cherryade Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 (except that he's an idiot!) "The differences narrow, and I defeat the weak, and the weak never return." That's his facebook status btw.
Trimmer Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Does it matter? As in - is it your boyfriend or something like that, and it's important to know, or is it just a random person you stumbled across? The real question may be: do you really want to waste any of your energy figuring it out?
Author cherryade Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 It's my ex. I wondering if I'm being accused of being weak. Or if I'm out of touch and it's a line from a really cool film or song or something and it's entirely meaningless.
TeaAbraham Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Whatever it is it sounds f*cking stupid. If that's your ex I feel happy for you.
Ronni_W Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 It's my ex. I wondering if I'm being accused of being weak. IMO, he can't "accuse" you of anything. It's only about you if YOU feel somehow weak and defeated. No matter where it may be from, sounds more like the person who would re-quote it is feeling rather "weak and defeated"...and also is kinda sad and pathetic, don't you agree?
You'reasian Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 (except that he's an idiot!) "The differences narrow, and I defeat the weak, and the weak never return." That's his facebook status btw. If its your ex, you shouldn't be reading that. Instead, you should be reading the status of the new guy you're interested in.
Author cherryade Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 TBH I'd be quite flattered if he has even thought of me enough to consider me in his FB status. Afterall it's he who has been weak, and cowardly in his approach. It's possible that he saw my behaviour (giving my all to our relationship, including a second chance) as weakness, but that's fine, it shows how little he understands. I don't regret anything that happened between us. It was fun while it lasted.
aiina Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Are you still his facebook friend? delete him!
Author cherryade Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 I have deleted him. But he has a public profile so I can still see it. As for the new guy, I don't need to look at FB to see his status
aiina Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Good then And if he is using his FB status to say something to you, he is very childish. I don't know why they do such a big thing of FB. My ex wouldn't waste two words for explaining nothing to me but would complain because I deleted him off from FB and asked to be friends again. No need to say I didn't accept. Oh! he calling you weak? I would say you are wise
lofi_tokyo Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I honestly have no clue what the heck your ex could be referring to. He sounds slightly crazy to me. Seriously, who puts that as their status? Its creepy!

Indeed - it sounds like a 16-year-old, trying to sound poetic and theatrical, who's into Dungeons and Dragons - or WoW or whatever you kids are into these days...
JooLee Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 it might not even be about you. stop obsessing
