From my experience with infidelity and gaslighting I can tell you that this need for proof is all BS. If you catch him in the act , red handed, with OW in bed, having intercourse.....his response will be exactly the same.

 

You don't need proof to prove to him he is cheating on you.

 

Read that again. I mean, it doesnt even make sense.

 

You have proof. To many of us, you have all the proof you need to know he is betraying you. If you still feel you do not, for whatever reason...then get more proof. But understand, that more proof is just for you. Not to "prove" anything to him. Because : 1. You don't freaking have to ! 2. You can't.

 

I agree with this. I had a friend a few years back, who she had suspected her husband was cheating on her. She caught him kissing another woman out in public, called him out on it right there, and do you know to this day he says he wasn't doing anything wrong and even denies this happened?:confused: I think he was mentally off of just plain delusional or something, I mean wow, deny it even when you're caught. :eek:

If you have PC at home, install a keylogger on it. As this is your PC as well as his, you are not intruding in his privacy.

Install a digital recorder on your phone. It is perfectly legal to bug your own phone line where I am - and I suspect it is in your state as well.

Drop a Voice Activated digital recorder in his car. Tape it under his seat. Do be wary that the radio may cause it to run continuously and may drown out conversations.

 

If you have any questions, hire a PI to do the bugging for you.

 

Having said that...you don;t need to do any of that.

 

Pack up, take the kids and leave. Why should you be gaslighted (spot on to all above posters)? Why live like that? Stop it. You have every right to demand change for the better. You matter as much as he does.

 

And the lawyer who blabbed, violated no privacy laws. He reported an appt...one you didn't even keep. An Appt is not privilidged info. The discussions are subject to privilidege.
