So I've been having problems with my right forearm lately. I figured it was just a pulled muscle or something. Turns out it's tennis elbow.

I haven't played tennis in years. And maybe three or four times in my life.

The doctor confirmed they won't have to remove it or even operate. And it will clear up after a week or so of rest and them some time on anti-inflammatories and some kind of velcro band while I work out.

I can type ok and I'll probably not even notice it while I'm at work. You all won't even notice a change in my LS posting habits. I only notice it when I work out or do stuff around the house.

It's just one thing after another, isn't it.

That's no fun. Tennis elbow is usually caused by repetitive motion while grasping. Hopefully you'll be able to use your left hand for whatever you're doing.

You don't get tennis elbow just from playing tennis.;) I think it's caused by any kind of repeated and forceful movement. Hahaha.

Well, I had a problem with my arm for months. Never went to the doctor because it's just not something I do. I scoured the internet and found out it was bursitis. I self-treated it and it finally, FINALLY went away. But I'm not kidding, it took about 5 months. I had very limited use of that arm and if I tried to reach up high or behind my back the most excrutiating (sp?) pain would shoot up my arm.

Anyway, at least yours won't last for months like my little problem did.

Maybe you're lifting too many beers lately?

Tennis elbow is better than tennis ball.

Perhaps you're petting your kitties too much? I don't really know...could be anything really.

I think I got it from raking leaves and then working out at the gym. And no, those are not euphemisms.

You can get it from being on the computer too much or being in the car too much and having your arm propped up on the center console? if that's what it's called and you can get it if you bang your elbow or fall on your elbow.

There are a lot of ways to get tennis elbow. I use to play tennis growing up and I never got it before and johan you only played tennis six times ever so I really don't know how they came up with that name.

:lmao: Yeah, that must be it. Raking those heavy leaves can be torture on your muscles.:p

I was raking pretty aggressively. Trying to make a workout out of it. I raked a couple times a week, too.

I'll bet you raked a couple of times a week. Must have been a slow week...

You should rake less and consider a leaf blower perhaps?

Looks like your girlfriend will have to be on top for a while. With any luck you'll be back to your usual self in no time.

I raked my leaves yesterday and I am beat the eff up today.

Plus I have a blister.

But my right arm is killing me and my upper back hurts too.

Blowers blow. Nothing like a good old-fashioned workout doing yardwork. But my BF came by after work and blew the backyard for me and that was huge.

He kept stepping in dog poop too because it blends.

Maybe it's from the gym. Pumping a lot of iron can probably cause more issues than leaf raking.

Aww, poor thing. :( What are the other rings of the bad-event chain? Losing hair? Or is there something more serious? Me thinks you're a little bit depressed lately.

Don't grasp so much during masturbation - it's not as big as you estimate! :p;):bunny:

Poor J. A little less time "raking leaves" and a little more time boning the cleaning lady will do wonders. ;)

If you don't have a cleaning lady I'm sure Nemo would be more than willing to offer his uh...services. ;)

I don't think Johan is interested in Nemo's ass! :D

I bought some good ice packs today. Now I am icing my elbow. It aches like the cold is sinking into the bone. It kind of feels good. Hope it helps.

If not try soaking it in very hot water and epsom salts.

back story – all those double entendres ... the backyard getting blown was a little wild, but the dog poop just killed the whole back story.

never mind, I've got a gutter mind.
