UnamedSeven Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Ok, i'm not exactly where to start and i'm going to make this as short as possible: My friend had told me 2 months ago that her cousin would be stopping by for a visit from Australia. Shes a year and a half older than i am, and we have a few things in common and we talked to each other a lot. Before she went back to Australia, i told her that i have strong feelings for her. She said it was sweet, but she was leaving so there wouldn't be time for a relationship. Fast forward to now, she came back for Thanksgiving and she told me that she really, really likes me. Though, she is highly against having a long distance relationship (especially since i live in the US and she lives in Australia). So, we aren't sure if we are going to be together or not and if we were, it would only be for the 2 weeks she is here. Also, this was all done via text messages and when she had to go, she said, "i g2g FRIEND". Idk why in caps but i haven't talked to her since. Should i ask her if there will be something between us the next time me and her talk?
Suiyobi Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Might wanna start looking elsewhere... Even if both of you do like each other, she doesn't want to get involved in long distance relationships, you two will only have a limited time in being together, and she seems to have stressed FRIEND in that text message. (It would have been different if she had it in quotes, like "friend".)
Author UnamedSeven Posted November 16, 2008 Author Posted November 16, 2008 Yeah, i suppose. She's also the type of girl who is on a relationship one day, but is onto another, the next day. While shes been here, shes already been in a relationship with someone she just met, but he wanted to have sex with her and that made her break up with him. If me and her were to be together, i wouldn't be upset about losing her. I know the consequences, but i'm willing to risk it
Suiyobi Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Jaa, ganbatte ne! Edit: For those that don't know, the above roughly translates to: "Well then, go for it!"
Author UnamedSeven Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 Well, everything is basically over. She wanted me to see the real her. From what she was trying to tell me, she wanted me to stop liking her. So, she was insistent on telling me about her past life with her ex and what she "did" with him. If you catch my drift. I told her i didnt want to know, which led me to leaving her. Sigh
huggies Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Oh, wow. That's like staying in the jungle too for experience right?
Author UnamedSeven Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 Yeah, basically. I'm pretty much over her anyways lol. I didn't know that someone else had commented on this, and as i was reading my previous responce, my mind was like, "Oh, her" haha But yeah everything is ok. As far as I'm concerned, i was better off to not be involved in the first place and I'm just glad that i got out of it completely
