OK...so we are supposed to talk tonight about some very IMPERSONAL things (ie: other family issues) and so he is calling me this evening...it has been NC for over a week now and we discussed talking. I know FOR A FACT that after that part of the convo is over I am going to get the dreaded "how are you doing" question...I need to know what to do at this point! Do I keep it short and sweet with the business talk or allow it to go on into other things after that? Anything would be great...THANK YOU!!

 

ok, more FYI, been broke up for a month, havent talked for a week, were together for 4 years, and now life sucks :)

Who broke it off and why? What kind of terms are you on? You could tell him how you've been without going into the issues related to the breakup... nothing emotional and heavy.
