Okay... well there's this chick i have feelings for. We went out for about six months and when we broke up we still had feelings for each other so we still pretty much did the same stuff as when we were dating. Well when we came back highschool after summer break she met this new guy... he seems really cool and i can understand why she has feelings for him but for some reason i cant move on like she can. about a week after she told me she didnt have feelings for me anymore she went to this new guy. I still want to be best friends with her like i was before but i keep going off on her when she talks about him. i know its wrong but its just so hard for me not to say anything. i dont know what to do, and im not sure how to move on because honestly even though i tell myself im not, im still in love with her.

Dude, straight up, No contact.

 

You can't get over her because you remain in contact with her.

 

You need to 100% cut off all contact.

 

Don't look at pics, don't look at past things from her, etc.

 

Just erase her. You will begin moving on after at least a week or two of no contact. Trust me, its your only chance. You need to cut her off completely, 100%. No exceptions, no bs. Don't doubt yourself-- it's your only real option.

 

Cut her off. Do it now. Tell her you aren't gunna talk to her anymore because its too tough and you can't move on when you do talk to her.

 

If she tries to stop you, then disregard it... cuz people generally only want what they feel they can't have. As soon as you'd give in, you'd be right back to her emotional tampon. (No offense).

well i know that i should stop talking to her but its just soooooo hard like she is the only person i feel comfortable talking to on the phone. and honestly a lot of my time at home is on the phone. i tried to stop talking to her but it only lasted for about ten hours i just got sooooo bored...
