Zorie Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Ok I'm looking for brutally honest answers lol Since I have a small bust (which I am not insecure about) on occasion I will use a nice padded push up bra or those "cutlet" thingies to make some tops/outfits look better. Since I've been back in the dating scene I guess I'm kind of worried that if I ever get to the point of intimacy with someone and they discover that it may be a turnoff? Anyone encounter this situation and want to share thier thoughts? I don't wear them to attract men and I'm not trying to be dishonest about my size. Sometimes it's just for a little confidence boost and depending on what Im wearing does make me feel more feminine and sexy. So do guys prefer the "Illusion" of cleavage with a little help or not? And as a side question, would it possibly affect your decision to approach a women? Lets say if a woman with a smaller bust and a more revealing top didn't have anything on to boost the cleavage over a woman who did? TIA!
2sure Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Not a guy but I think a push up or padded bra is the norm for many women. Guys are used to it. But if you are adding say, a cup size (or two)...they would feel like they were lied to.
Lizzie60 Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I don't think guys see that as a turn-off.. it's part of the sexy lingerie.. If I were a guy I would prefer a padded bra under a sexy dress or low cut blouse over fake boobs..
carhill Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Since I've been back in the dating scene I guess I'm kind of worried that if I ever get to the point of intimacy with someone and they discover that it (padded bra/inserts) may be a turnoff? Anyone encounter this situation and want to share their thoughts? Not a turnoff. Could be to some guys. My wife used/uses them, even though she's about a C, to balance out her ample ass. Give me a nice ass and expressive lips and you can put rocks in your bra for all I care

Small breasts, to me, is not a turnoff. I like them all. It doesn't matter. But misrepresenting yourself might be. What would you do if a man stuffed his pants with a sock? And as a side question, would it possibly affect your decision to approach a women? No. The thing that sends me swooning are the eyes and the smile. but you can't have a shaved head:lmao:
Dexter Morgan Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I don't think guys see that as a turn-off.. it's part of the sexy lingerie.. If I were a guy I would prefer a padded bra under a sexy dress or low cut blouse over fake boobs.. I have to agree. Fake boobs are an absolute turnoff. they are ugly and look unnatural. give me small real boobs over big fake ones any day!
Mahatma Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Absolutely not a turn off. If you were stuffing your bra, THAT would be a turn off.
taiko Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 For guys who hold size as a priority the bra will not be enough to attract him in the first place. My wife was worried about this the first time we, well you know. It was good for a laugh afterwards.
Charles1978 Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Not a turnoff at all. The last two girls I dated had small boobs. They both got fake ones midway through our relationship. Yeah that was kinda fun, but they are as hard as bricks. I've never been a boob guy, so that never matters to me. It is more important to me that a girl take care of herself weight-wise. I take care of myself, so I'd like my girlfriend to do the same. The girl I'm currently pursuing doesn't have much up-top either. I've seen her padded bras on the floor in her room.... doesn't bother me one bit.
Author Zorie Posted November 13, 2008 Author Posted November 13, 2008 Thanks so much for all the answers! I guess it puts my mind at ease thats its not as big of a deal as I may be making it out to be haha And yeah I'm not trying to add a lot sometimes the push up bras help with shape, cleavage and all that but when felt obviously feel unnatural Wasn't sure if that would freak some guys out. As for guys stuffing thier pants with socks well I'm not entirely sure I take that the same way unless they want to fill out thier pants! I dunno maybe its just me but I guess I just feel that some articles of clothing just dont fit right without a wee bit of help!

Not too concerned with boob size - of course big boobs are a turn on - but if you're an intelligent, beautiful, wonderful woman, you shouldn't have anything to worry about

Isolde Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I, like many other girls with average-to-large sized boobs, still use lightly padded bras on occasion: -to prevent show thru -sensitivity issues -look better with certain outfits -extra support etc. It's the norm. Just don't use a water bra every day--so unnecessary!
sid3 Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Misleading and maybe a turnoff as far as making yourself look much bigger than you are. I imagine some guys would be disappointed. I think you should be happy with what god gave you. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I actually find girls with less/ no cleveage far more attractive. I never understood why some women feel the need to get breast implants that IMO look ridiculous. There are plenty of men that don't put cleveage on the lists of must haves when attraction comes in to play. The woman I'm just starting to date is super sexy, even though there are many men who have larger manboobs than her given size. The smile, her beautiful eyes, how she wears her hair and her style of dress makes her exremely atractive IMO. In fact, if she did have large breasts, it would throw everything out of balance, and she probably would not have caught my eye when I first saw her. The point being, although men have been stereotyped as drooling over the size of a woman's boobs, it's a misconception.
BubblyPopcorn Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 The lightly padded ones are nice they give the chi chi's a little push. I prefer the padding built it, when they first came out the padding was removeable and I wore it to a wedding and the padding popped out when I was dancing so just make sure the padding is secure.
Brimstone_Angel Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Not a guy but I think a push up or padded bra is the norm for many women. Guys are used to it. But if you are adding say, a cup size (or two)...they would feel like they were lied to. I agree. It all depends on circumstances and the extent of the enhancement. Push ups are okay, but if your stuffing or padding yourself to make you look bigger, think about how you would feel if a guy stuffed his crotch with socks.
sumdude Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Don't worry about it. Every person is attracted to different things physically. The french might say that anything bigger than a champagne glass is overkill.
BoerumHill Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Almost every woman I know wears padded push up bras. The wonder bra has been around since the mid-90s, it's a staple in pretty much everyone's wardrobe. Deceitful? Um, I don't think there are hundred million guys walking around with a sock in their jeans, so that's a pretty weak analogy. Turn-off? I cannot imagine a guy who is hot for you reacting that way...but if it ever happens, just throw that one back - too many fish in the sea!
zachary85 Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Guys worry about penis size, girls worry about breast size. We're all so insecure! I will say on the plus side for you that there is a lot of guys who will be quite happy with, or even prefer smaller boobs. I myself prefer them smaller so a padded bra wouldn't put me off at all.
PrincessPeach Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Guys all have different preferences. Some guys might be turned off by it, but I'd guess that the majority wouldn't be. Smaller sized breasts fit more completely in a guys hand than larger ones anyway, so that could be a plus too. I know my guy likes that mine are just the size to fit into his hands, if they were larger he wouldn't be able to feel the whole boob all at once.
