Saw a post by someone that sounded like they had the same problem only a little different. Anyway... I am in my Senior year of highschool and so is my "ex" Girlfriend. We started off not even talking to eachother and I didnt like her at all. One day my friend came to me with a few girl problems of his own and me trying to help him out, told him that he seemed like he would be good with one of two girls (they are all best friends, I just started talking to the girls this year) But he said that Kayleigh (my "ex") wasnt at all attracting, and that Marcie was just a friend. I replied, and I have NO IDEA WHY, that Kayleigh was pretty cute. I thought about it after I saw her the next time and realized that she wasnt the greatest looking girl but she was decent looking... After about a week she asked if I liked her. I replied after some that I did like her. Then we started flirting and stuff but she felt that she made the first move throughout most of the relationship, she asked to go out, and claims to moved for the kiss before me (but didnt). Anyway, she hasnt ever really had a boyfriend treat her with respect meaning they would literally hit her, call her names or both. I was raised to treat a girl with respect and stuff. So she had developed a complex and she thinks shes ugly and stuff, I try to tell her that she isnt but she just argues. This girl is not my first "real" g/f. BUT she is the first girl that I was looking to stay with. I lost my virginity to her after 3 weeks of going out, then 3 days later she tells me that she wants to take a break and that we should just be friends, she said I didnt do anything wrong and that she still loves me but I am confused on a few things. 1) Why would she want to leave if I treated her with nothing but respect. 2) Why would she leave after begging me to never hurt her? 3) just... Why? I know this is a pretty lengthy post and that a lot of people probably wont care but I just needed to ask a complete stranger for some help I guess...
