should I get back with my ex? we ended up making out and it was like we never split

So me and my ex dated for around 8 months. We were pretty much spending too much time together and had started fighting a bit more and I just pushed her over the edge at her senior prom(yah I was a total jackass, wont go into details). So I thought we would just kinda take a break for a couple weeks and then things would be fine, but we ended up staying broke up and pretty much stopped talking. I was kinda hurt because she was my first real girlfriend and didn't really want it to end and had started to miss her all ready. So then a few months later she started to call again and wanted to be friends, but I tried to ignore her. I had stopped thinking about her and was pretty much over her. Well, now its been almost a year since we broke up, and I finally gave in after months and months and started talking to her again. She even came over this last weekend and we ended up making out and it was like we had never even broke up. So now I'm not sure what to do. Shes goin to college about 80 miles away. When we dated last year we really didnt get to see each other except during weekends anyway so I don't think that would be a problem. I'm just not sure if its a good idea to get back with an ex? I want to be with her but don't really want to be tied down, and she said she feels the same way. I'm not really sure why she hasn't moved on after a year? Is it because she couldnt find someone else? Because I was her first sexual relationship? Any advice is appreciated.

exes are exes and i think since you are so young, there will be many more women for you to date. move on and have fun!
