foxh1234 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Hi folks, I had a first date last night with a nice young lady and I mean young. I'm 41 and she is only 25. I took her out for a bite and a little chat chit and we seemed to hit it off really well. We then went out to a dance club and danced a bit had a few cocktails and really had fun laughing and flirting. I cannot tell you how great it felt to have fun with a woman again. I had a few nightmare dates in the past few months and this was the first one where I actually had fun. We stayed up really late and had a great conversation until about 3am. She ended up staying at my place and I cooked her a big breakfast and drove her home this morning. It felt so nice to not think about the ex for the whole night and whether or not we continue to see each other, it still felt great to be out and about. The age thing kind of worries me but it was just 1 date so I will wait and see. I told her I would call her early this week and maybe do something. I guess the point of this thread is to tell everyone that there is hope after a bad break up. Since March I have been living in hell and I am slowly starting to see the light. Hang in there everyone and get back out there and enjoy your life. Once we can put them in our past, we open up so many possibilities for the future.
Peter_pan Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 wow nice work, pulling the young ladies huh lol i have had this high of a new girl but it wore off lol... meh it was good kissing and stuff though, i felt alive! there is this new girl who is really hot but i think she has been with loads of guys, so dunno whether to try or not. or see if she comes to me

See where it goes, not worried about it really.

She told me this morning that she was really impressed that I never tried to sleep with her last night. We talked until late and I suggested that she sleep over and I made up the spare room for her. I wanted to be a gentleman and not come on too fast or look like I just wanted to get laid ( which I did, lol, joking ) I just didn't want to make her feel like that is all I wanted. I made her a nice breakfast and she seemed really comfortable around me. I will call her on Tuesday probably.Waiting 2 days to call is the standard I think.

That was my first thought, too, but then I realized that if you get all the way to 3 am and you're still talking ("not that there's anything wrong with that...") that it's probably a make-up-the-spare-room-tonight kind of an evening.
