First, I would hope that you would seek friends in your town. If you must do it on the Internet, use a good search engine and enter "Friendship Sites" or other appropriate key words to find sites that offer introductions for friends.

 

If you have a point you'd like to air for discussion, please feel free and most welcome to do so.

But approaching the forum with little or no input of any kind, is actually counter-productive.
