I never did anything major like cheat or manipulate or try and control my ex or anything, she just said the relationship faded out and it was due to my really strong jealousy of everything. I am begginning to get over her - it's not like i'm desperate and crying all the time, but she tells me she misses me and still loves me but she doesn't want a relationship with me ever again. We had a really strong one for a year until the last two months because of me being a cunt. I was just wondering if there was anybody else out there who's dumped someone, been adament they'd never develop feelings or ever back with them again . . . and then eventually changed their minds and wanted them back?

I'm sure it does happen, but it is a major exception to the rule. It was quoted in another thread that only 3% of relationships that get back together after a 'separation' actually succeed.

You want hope, I understand that ...it doesn't really exist in this case.

Well thanks for your input BikerBeagle, but that's such a strong presumption, considering i ambiguously explained the relationship in such minor detail. Yeah, okay there might not be MUCH hope but how can you say 'it doesn't really exist in this case', as if you're 100% certain of it?
